I am sorry to disappoint everyone who has been waiting for a commission from me, but I have been hired by a client to work for him and next to that I do some work for other clients' projects on a more or less regular basis. I want to use the weekends for my personal art and already had to reject people who had asked for a commission, planning to officially open them again once I wouldn't be swamped with work. But work is constantly arriving ( which is of course good for me since I have a steady income ) and I just can't handle any extra load on top of that.

At this point I can't say when commissions will be open again. The project I am hired for will take the entire year, but the client has already planned something new afterwards.

Sorry, guys, but I just have two hands and a limited amount of time and creativity. ^^"

Imagine someone said that young black women have no right to criticize „men's movies“ like „Fast and Furious“ or „Transformers“. The outcry would be huge.

But if they say grown white men have no right to criticize „kids' movies“ ( basically anything animated or from Disney ) whatsoever it's alright.

Why? You really think that men shouldn't watch and enjoy animated or fairytale movies? That's an extremely sexist opinion, you know.

Ignoring someone's arguments and claiming their opinion is invalid just because of their gender and race is exactly what certain groups are fighting against.

When black kids immediately notice that a previously white character is suddenly black it's cute and heartwearming.

When white kids immediately notice that a previously white character is suddenly black they are racist brats that need to be taken away from their racist parents.

Claiming a previously white character is much better now because they've been turned into a PoC is fine.

Complaining about a historic person suddenly being racebend is racist.

Gosh, people, are you even listening to yourselves?

If you can only relate to a character when it looks like yourself that's extremely narcissistic and you're just as superficial as you blame others to be. I usually can relate most to male and animal characters, should that even be possible? Why am I not screaming for a chubby and nerdy female lead to finally have someone I can look up to? People should care about a character's personality and story and not their skincolor, gender or sexual orientation. Having a particular skin color or being straight or gay or trans doesn't make someone a better character.

The actor of the live-action „Aladdin“ was chased away from Twitter in a huge shitstorm just because he said he didn't think that „The Little Mermaid“ ( Disney's latest addition to their uncreative phase of turning each of their animated classics into a soulless cashgrab ) would cross 1 billion at the box office but most likely get a sequel. He's Egyptian, but apparently still not dark-skinned enough to have an opinion about this movie without getting attacked.

Why do people act like no one is allowed to criticize actors who are darker-skinned than themselves? PoCs can criticize white actors. A black person is allowed to say „I don't like Tom Cruise, I think he can't act very well.“ Legit opinion.

But if a white person says „I don't like black actor XY, I think they can't act very well.“ it's suddenly all about skin-color and racism. Just...stop.

People are equal. Having a darker skin than anyone else doesn't make you immune towards criticism. You can be white and a racist jerk. You can be black and a lovely and liberal person. And it can also be the other way around. It's not skin color or our origins that define us, it's our personality.

Insulting everyone as racist bigot just because they don't like a movie featuring a non-white actor / actress isn't getting us anywhere. Acting like a certain human race is better than the other one is wrong. Look at the history of mankind, it never ended well.

You can't fight racism with more racism.

Since people keep contacting me. I'm sorry, but I'm busy with two major clients' projects and also need some time for my own ideas again.

I'm very happy you all like my art so much and I have a hard time saying "No", so I was working on commissions almost nonstop for the last months and I need a break.

I thought it was finally over, but one and a half years after telling him explicitly he should stay away and stop writing about me I suddenly have two bars of chocolate and an empty Christmas card in my mailbox. The chocolate is from a chocolate shop near a certain someone's residence. Despite not mentioning anywhere that he was in Vienna over the weekend he posted several pictures on his Instagram and I KNOW this city! Seriously, I'm sick of it. Every time I think he has finally understood that I want him to stay FAR away from me he creeps back. Probably thinking it's a nice gesture. Dude, NO WOMAN thinks it's sweet when she gets anonymous chocolate , empty cards and finds out her stalker was right at her door! Police won't do anything because I can't prove it was him and he didn't do anything "bad". But seriously, how many times does he have to hear that I don't want him around, neither online nor in real life? Goddamnit.
