Wanted to draw more winter pictures this year, but I didn`t have much time because of work and commissions. But now I took some time for my own art again and worked on this for 2 days.
Hey, what`s better on a cold winter's day than cuddling with the one you love in front of a fireplace?
The plant in the bg was added because the space looked too empty, and to be honest, a christmas tree would have taken too much time to draw ( I`ll visit my family tomorrow for a week, and still have a lot of other things to do today ), and after trying a basic tree, I didn`t think it looked good.
So yay for plant-spacefillers!
Oh, and you might notice the slightly different shading, I thought a more painterly style would fit well to this picture. :3
