The movie is finally online! ^___^

But before you watch it / ask questions please keep in mind that it took over 7 montsh to make the movie, so I guess it`s not too much to be asked for if you take a few minutes and read the following paragraph, because I won`t answer any questions that are already answered here.

Although I enjoyed the time at Animation School Hamburg I have to mention that it`s not the kind of animation school which you can find all over the USA, for example. I`ve heard that there are huge buildings where a lot of people are educated and the education lasts about 3 years. Now Germany isn`t as advanced regarding animation so we just have this one school that offers a short education for 19 people to learn how animation works in a period of 14 months. We had 7 months of theoretical lessons and 7 months to produce our short movie. So please keep in mind that this movie may not be as good as a movie that was done by people who had 3 years of education.

I know myself that there are a lot of mistakes in the movie, which we sadly couldn`t correct because of serious lack of time, knowledge and experience…and the fact that we were only two people.

Since the end credits turned out rather small and hard to read, I`ll sum them up :

I was responsible for :

- Animation of Iwi the kiwi ; the jungle animals ( for all of you who will be like “OMG! Dogs don`t live in the jungle!”, I read somewhere online that some dogs which were brought to New Zealand ages ago are still living in the wilderness ).
- Part of the animation of the kiwi-fruits and Mel ( the kiwi-girl ).
- Character-design / visual development, the voice of Iwi and most of the backgrounds
- Part of the story, storyboard, layout and clean-up.


Sam ( ) was responsible for :

- The animation of Peter Jackson.
- Part of the animation of the kiwi-fruits and Mel
- Voice of Mel, Overlays ( leaves, trees, etc. ) and some of the backgrounds.
- Part of the story, storyboard, layout and clean-up.
- Color Models / Ink & Paint / Compositing

I hope I haven`t forgotten anything.

And again a big THANK YOU to for the great music!!! You really did a great job! ^___^
